La Casa de Gaitán

In the building work of restoration, we could renovate the most significant traditional elements of the building, such a former cave in the basement connected to an old cistern of Arabic origin which, in turn, is connected with a well which curb can be observed in a side of the interior courtyard.

The courtyard is formed around four big columns of granite that were supporting the top stays of the house, and in which stairwell you can appreciate beautiful girders and wood balustrades recently discovered and restored.

All these elements form very intimate and very hospitable environment that show you the authentic Toledo´s tradition but at the same time, the house has been equipped with all the comforts of the modern life: air conditioning, individual heating, communal elevator, and connection to the internet with ADSL by means of a WIFI net.
